Endowments are typically funded through generous contributions from individuals. These can be one-time donations, bequests, or estate gifts. Every contribution, no matter the size, helps to build and sustain the Endowment.

The Horizons Endowment provides essential financial support for our church's ministries and activities. It allows us to go beyond our regular operating budget and focus on long-term goals. An endowment is basically a church's savings account for the future! People donate money, which gets invested, and the earnings go towards supporting the church's mission. This can mean funding new ministries, keeping existing programs strong, or even helping with building upkeep. A Gift Intention Form is a statement of your intention to make a planned gift to Horizons in the future. Completing a Gift Intention Form allows you to explicitly state how you would like your planned gift to be utilized by Horizons. 

No, a Gift Intention Form is not binding during your lifetime. You may need to revise or modify your planned gift. If so, please notify Horizons and the Foundation so we can update your records.
