Why Serve?

At Horizons, serving is more than just filling a role—it’s a way to live out God’s love and connect with our neighbors. We believe that when we serve, we grow as disciples and help lead others to Jesus, creating a lasting impact from one generation to the next. Every act of service, whether greeting at the door, mentoring students, or supporting behind the scenes, plays a vital role in transforming lives and building a strong, Christ-centered community. There’s a place for everyone to serve, and together, we can make a difference.

Hospitality Team

Help create a warm environment by preparing and serving coffee and doughnuts. Sunday Morning - First or Second Service

Welcome Team

Greet guests, help with check-in, and make everyone feel at home. Sunday Morning - First or Second Service

Care Team

Provide visits, rides, meals, and support for those in need. Various times and opportunities.

Prayer Team

Pray for our church, community, and those in need. Sunday Morning - First or Second Service

Worship & Tech Team

Serve on the worship team or help with audio, visuals, and lighting. Sunday Morning - Wednesday evening Practice

DZ Kids Leader

Invest in the next generation by leading kids in fun and faith-filled activities. Sunday Morning - First or Second Service

WAVE Buddy

Support and engage with individuals with special needs. Sunday Morning - First or Second Service

Fusion Leader

Serve on the worship team or help with audio, visuals, and lighting. Sunday Morning - First or Second Service 1st & 3rd Wednesdays 7-8pm

Arise Leader

Invest in the next generation by leading kids in fun and faith-filled activities. Sunday Evenings 7-8:30pm

Adult Team

Lead or support Groups, discipleship studies, and connections.

Outreach Volunteer

Serve our community through missions, local outreach, and partnerships.
