Most of us have a Bible.

It might be on a shelf, on our phone, or sitting next to us every Sunday. We know we’re supposed to read it. We’ve probably heard that it’s important.

But what actually is it?

Why are there 66 books? Who wrote them? Why are some parts easy to understand and others just… strange? And how do words written thousands of years ago have anything to do with the life we’re living right now?

That’s where My Strange Bible begins.

Over this series, we’re going to get more comfortable opening the Bible for ourselves—not just hearing what somebody else says about it.

Bring it. Read it. Know it. Live it.

This week, we start with the first step: understanding what we’re actually holding in our hands.

Whether you’ve read the Bible for years, haven’t opened it in a long time, or have no idea where to begin, you’re invited.
